Hyderabad: Hunter Douglas India Ltd, a subsidiary of Hunter Douglas Group, has elevated the architectural landscape of Surat Diamond Bourse, the largest office space in the world. Besides this, it has also contributed to the overall aesthetics and functionality of the new terminal building at Surat Airport. Both of these projects were inaugurated by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India on Sunday. With its cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Sri City and an array of products under the brand name Luxalon, the company has been instrumental in contributing to landmark projects, showcasing the company's commitment to excellence and innovation.
Hunter Douglas played a pivotal role in shaping the architectural identity of the Surat Diamond Bourse. The products supplied for this prestigious project include Luxalon wood finish Roll formed metal Baffle measuring 50X75 in a module of 150mm. These baffles not only mesmerise, but also ensure acoustic serenity, a stark contrast to the potential business hum. This innovative product not only adds a touch of sophistication to the interiors but also reflects the company's dedication to providing unique and customisable solutions.
The collaboration extends to the new terminal building of Surat Airport, where Hunter Douglas has contributed significantly to the overall aesthetics and functionality. The Luxalon 300C Linear roll-formed metal ceiling in wood finish is among the key products supplied for this project. This choice of material combines the warmth of wood aesthetics with the durability of metal, offering a perfect balance for an airport terminal where both aesthetics and resilience are paramount.
